Which report template should I use?
The Templates gallery has ready-made report decks by category and depth, including five built on AI discoverability. Pick one and edit it in the builder.
Templates are ready-made report decks you can send as they are or take apart. Each one is a fully laid-out report, not a stub, and every card stays editable once the report exists. You'll find them in Reports, under Measure in the sidebar, on the Templates page.
Each template has a category, which is what the report is about: Executive, AI visibility, SEO, Conversions, Engagement, Content, Competitive or Technical. It also has a depth. Starter is a single slide someone can read in a meeting, Standard is two or three slides, and Advanced is a full deck that assumes several integrations are connected. Depth is about length only and has nothing to do with your plan. Each card shows who the template is for, the data it uses, and how many pages and cards it contains.

Five templates are built on AI discoverability data. AI discoverability snapshot is a single slide for a leadership or client update. How to create a report from a template
- Open Reports from the Measure section of the sidebar and choose Templates.
- Pick a category, choose a depth, or search templates by name.
- Check the data sources listed on the card, and connect any you're missing on the Data sources page.
- Click Use. WriteWorks creates the report and opens it in the builder.
- Rename it, rearrange or remove cards, and add any others you need.
- Preview and export it, or set up a schedule with Automate delivery.
Every template includes the AI commentary card. WriteWorks AI reads the figures on the slide and writes the analysis, so a scheduled send explains itself.
Tip: old links to the retired Traffic, Search Console and Page analytics dashboards now open Templates. The search and traffic templates are their replacements.
