What are Sheets and agent columns?

Sheets are tables where an Agent column runs one of your saved automations on every row, so you can research, write or audit a whole list of pages or topics at once.

Sheets, under Create in the sidebar, let you run an automation across a whole list at once. You build a table of pages, topics or keywords, then add an Agent column that runs one of your saved automations on every row. This article explains how to set up a sheet, import rows and run agent columns.

A sheet is made of columns, and each column has a type

  • Text and Long text for short and multi-line text.
  • Number, Boolean (yes or no), URL and Date.
  • Dropdown, which picks from a list of options you set.
  • Agent, which runs a workflow for each row.

When you add an Agent column, you pick a saved automation and map each of its inputs to a source column. For example, an automation that audits a page might take its URL from your URL column. Every input must be mapped before you can add the column. You build the automation itself in Create → Automations.

How to set up and run a sheet

  1. Open Create → Sheets and click New sheet. Give it a name, such as "Q2 pages".
  2. Click Column to add a column, and choose a type for each.
  3. Add rows with Row or Add row, or click Import. Choose Paste / CSV to paste values, one per line, or Sitemap to pull in every URL from a sitemap. Imports add values to the first column, up to 500 rows at a time.
  4. Add an Agent column, pick a workflow and map each input to a source column.
  5. Click Run in a single cell to test it, or open the column's menu and choose Run column to run it on every row.

Cells show Queued, then Running, and update as each run completes. If a run fails, the cell shows the error so you can fix the input and run it again. You can delete a row, a column or the whole sheet at any time. Deleting a column drops all its cells.

Agent runs use your organisation's AI tokens, charged per cell for the work each run does and weighted by the model the automation uses. Run column starts a run for every row in the sheet, so a long sheet can use a lot of tokens in one click. Automations can also send their results to a sheet using the Add a row to a Sheet destination.

Tip: run the agent on two or three cells first and check the results before you click Run column on the whole sheet.
