What are AI credits?
Top-up credits that cover AI tasks beyond your monthly plan allowance, so work isn't blocked at the cap.
Each plan includes a monthly pool of AI tasks. Once that pool is spent, WriteWorks automatically draws from your purchased AI credits instead of blocking you — 1 credit = 1 AI task (an agent run uses more, since it does much more work).
Buy credits in Settings → Billing → AI credits. Three bundles are available (Starter 250, Growth 1,000, Scale 5,000). Your live balance shows on the same page and on the Usage page.
If both your monthly tasks and your credits are exhausted, AI actions pause with a clear prompt to upgrade or top up — nothing is lost.
