How do I read the AI Search Performance dashboard?
Visibility, Share of Voice, Average Position, and Citation Share — each with a delta vs. the previous window.
AI Search Performance opens on the Visibility tab. Read it top-down
Top row — four KPIs (each with a delta vs. the previous period)
- Visibility — share of tracked prompts where you're mentioned.
- Share of Voice — your portion of brand mentions vs. competitors.
- Average Position — when mentioned, where in the answer you appear (#1 = first cited; lower is better).
- Citation Share — share of cited URLs pointing at your own domain.
Time-series chart shows the daily Visibility line, with optional Previous-Period and Compare-Competitors overlays.
Topic Rankings ranks each topic by your visibility within it, with status badges (Strong / Needs work) and per-topic deltas.
Every delta is a percentage change vs the previous period of equal length — green ▲ is better, red ▼ is worse, and "lower is better" metrics like Average Position flip the colours. The same indicator is used across Agent Analytics, Prompt Volumes and the dashboard.
Tip: hover the small "i" icon next to any metric label for a one-line definition without leaving the page — or open the Metrics glossary for the full list.
Filter bar at the top lets you slice by period, comparison mode, region, platform, topic, or tag — all of which sync to the URL so links are shareable.
