How are citations attributed to my brand?

We match domain references and brand-name aliases in the AI response text against your configured brand profile.

Every AI response is scanned for two signals: explicit URL citations (the engine's source links) and inline brand-name mentions matched against your brand name + any configured aliases.

If your domain is your-brand.com, mentions of your-brand.com, www.your-brand.com, and 'Your Brand' would all attribute to you.

Add aliases on the Brand Hub if you go by multiple names — for example, a parent company name plus a product name.
